2.2 Personal Top Speeds

Prior to today my top speed in my LS Sport Sedan was 110, but I got 'er up to 125-130ish running from a tailgating *******. Bet he was suprised when he slowly saw my taillights getting further and further away Remember, this list is for 2.2's only! Add your speed to the list below

HackAbuse: ~130mph

I'd take your car to the dealer, point out your higher rated tires and ask for a reflash

Me? I just went the extra mile and bought the Sport Package which gives me my bitchin Sedan Spoiler which looks awesome

Not to sound like someones father but just good driving advice...

If someone is tailgating you, move into the next lane and let them pass you. There is no point of speeding and then you get caught cause someone is tailgating you.

I must have some sort of freak car then, because I wasn't going downhill and there was no wind tonight.

There was no other lane, we were in the middle of nowhere on a backroad and the assjockey was revving his engine at me, I guess i put him in his place

well i know mine hits a fuel gut off some where it starts to buck like my work truck i though it was right below 125 but at those speeds i dont looke down for long lol but if its drag limited it is possible to go faster look at the ss\sc's those were drag limited at like 145 but many have gone over that

True, but one would think doing 150 under any circumstance wouldn’t be safe, and that’s why I never took my car above 75
