when ever i run my rpms into the red my engine bonks out and i cant keep it going. is this some sort of restriction or is it just not a strong enough engine to take the rotations.

Rev limiter. Do yourself a favor don't hit it too much. The only restriction the 2.2 has that I know of is we shut off end of 4th gear.

 

i'm guessing this is a joke, and he's trying to get some good reactions in a bad attempt to spread it around the internet. pretty sad. if it's a legit question, then please step out of the car, take your keys, and throw them in the nearest sewer. i'll email you a bus schedule.

 

guess what....u need to get tuned...so you can have a top speed of 163...like i do....but u know what im turboed....otherwise u wont be able to make it past 130

 

I've seen NA hit 140 before. Hell I've been in one. Scary ****.

But we did 140 in a turboed car I was like Already at 140? Hell my MX6 hit 140 before I let off. Scary **** on a stock suspension and tire setup.
