2.2 sc questions

To begin with I am going to introduce myself since this is the first time I have been on here
My name is Quintin, I am 16 years old, and I am a mopar kid. I mostly know older BB mopars and late 80's early 90's chrysler turbo cars.
Here are some pictures: (we all like pictures right?)

15 pounds of boost. Performance 11" brakes

just dropped a built motor haven't had time to drive it yet

440 =)
Now that I have the general hate of everyone here.

But anyways to the thread.
I have a buddy whos got a 2.2 ecotec base cobalt. He knows a guy with a wrecked 2.0 cobalt ss thats he is partin out. My friend is very interested in supercharging his cobalt and I was wondering what all does he need to do this? And what other performance parts could he take off this other car that would be more performance oriented. What computer set up would he need? would it be better to just swap the whole drivetrain with electronics?
I am pretty tech savy but please try to dumb down some of the acronyms and *chevy* technical jargon please. Also he would like to do this fairly cheaply. Also amount of wrench turning involved would be great as he is not so technically inclined to do all this work by himself so he may need some assistance.
Thanks in advance

What year is it? Depending on that you may have access to a laptop tuning program. If its 05-06 then you might want to look at Garrets kit or the ClearImageAutomotive tuning solution. I think in the GM build book there is a complete parts list for the 2.2l for that SC.

I would highly suggest you spend some time reading existing posts here on the forum and doing a few searches. This is actually a long-talked-about topic.

At present, there is no means of tuning the computer in that car. There is a company on this site called "Tri-fecta" that is having some success, but it has limitations. You can in fact bolt all that parts right onto the car, but the tuning will bite you in the ass.

I would also suggest looking at the Garrett turbo kit. It's a complete solution for manual trans cars.
