Trifecta has auto tunning I think. I read it in another thread here. I'm looking into it now.

I'd rather find out about pricing first.......

None are listed on their site.

Plus I will finally be putting my supercharger on the car this summer so I don't know if I should get a canned tune for N/A and use my FIC to adjust it for Supercharged or not.

I only really want the tranny tuned for accepting more power from the S/C setup if anything at all. I can tune the car myself beyond that.

you can't tune without software to tune with. And currently trifecta have the only 2.2L specific software that works.

I personally have a piggy back ECU wired up so I can tune somewhat on my own but I'd rather have a good base tune to go with and use my piggyback to simply tweak.

Not trueeeee......lol sorry feeling a bit like letting my whiney inner child out....

Carputing released tuning 2.2L and 2.4L 06-08 cobalts. Last I heard they were working on(or already done with) the autos. However Unlike trifecta...its a tuning program that you buy and plug your laptop in and tune it and reupload the software instead of the email way you do it with trifecta.....just a different style of tuning....Personally I'd rather not have to wait on emails to have my car tuned...stupid *** Communications......

Yeah I read through the thread before I responded....sorry to hear your car isn't supported....I just don't like someone saying there is only 1 way to go with something in a forum with a label that generalizes all 2.2's...........

see you on the road..........

Unless you've been tuning transmissions for 20 yrs I don't suggest you mess with it yourself.

The are somethings wrong with your statement

The 07 ECU/TCM is totally different from the 05/06 models. The 07 switched to a 32Bit platform with the addition of a Cam Position Sensor. Thus we get the 3hp gain over the 05/06 model years. The 07 ECU/TCM tune is being tested as we speak by Vince. It has been cracked and will be available shortly. However, it will be about 275+ to get it. I will email him in a minute and see what kind of progress there is and if his tune worked for the 07 Balts. I'll let you know...

OK. So 275+ tax and shipping for a Full engine and Tranny Tune?

What about including something for future F/I. I'm only going to be N/A for a few more weeks.

Would I be able to get a tune that will work without the S/C and when I install the S/C?

sorry. i was talking about the trannys and how they are the some in all the autos. i know that the engine control systems are different. i was just thinking that an 05 tranny tune will work on a 07 tranny seeing as how they are the same... i was just throwin that out there... dont quote me or anything...

Forced Induction is a possibility but he would have to have a car to run beta tests on...can tune for F/I without actually having one there. So yeah it will be available sometime in the near future. And yeah, you are looking about 275 or so for the full tune.

the trannys are the same but the tranny controllers are different....like i said before, the 07 went with a 32bit platform so they are different. both the ECU and TCM are different from the 05/06 models.
