I'm all in favor for ECM tuning. It's time that the 2.2L gets some power.

Companies are being biased because our cars don't say "SS" in my opinion.

HPtuners didn't pick up your PCM because it's more complex than the SS/SC ECM.

Who woulda thunk it? The most popular Engine in a Cobalt gets left out in the cold. (More 2.2L are sold than both the 2.0L or 2.4L combined!)

And the 3 that have voted no, must be 2.0 SS/SC owners.

Not that i'm a huge enthusiast to tune my car via ECM, but why not make something for the 2.2L? Possibly the most popular engine on the J-Body models, and yet, they dont want to?

Just my $.02

Possibly due to the fear of competiton? Imagine a LS/LT/LTZ beating a SS or SS/SC, wouldn't you be pissed too? Because you lost to an "inferior car." I think the people who voted nay, are afraid of competition in my opinion.

probably... either that or just being an ass... you know what they're response will be though, guaranteed... "you may be faster now, but i can do one mod and beat you again."

ill give it another 6 months and then im gonna look into stand alone systems to run everything. convert the ignition to a distributor, fmu, and a very large turbo.

I think those guys who voted no are scared, some one posted an article on here some where that said that the 2.2 ecotec with a good tune produced 195 hp, I think with the ability to tune our cars we can see 200 plus hp with little to no internal modification, just my .02
