I've looked and found lots of info on the 2.4 IM and TB, but I can't seem to find any info on how it affects gas mileage. I currently have full exhaust and CAI for just mpg's. I was looking into getting the IM and TB, but do not want to lose MPG's. Any info you guys have would be great.

 

hmm good question I would think the ecu would compensate for the new about of air that the engine is receiving and may put a little more fuel in there but i could be wring, although I know when vince tunes our cobalts he adds more fuel because the car runs lean from factory.

 

my gas mileage has stayed the same when my right foot isnt pegged to the floor,I get about 36 combined

 

mmm going by the stock mpg calculation, i'm averaging about 27.8 mpg in mine.

 

Should have minimal effect of MPG maybe a lost of .5-1mpg MAYBE may even be more trivial

 

Yeah stayed about the same for me.. Maybe dropped a little.. But my foot may be heavier..
