2.4 intake mani mod on 2.2?
so guys im tying to do as many bolted mods as possible. I wanna do a 2.4 intake mani, throttle body, headers, downpipe, better cold air intake, catback exhaust, and a tune. Is this worth my time and money?
is it worth it? absolutely not. l61 was not meant for performance by any means, with all the bolt ons it will still be relatively slow compared to entry level sports cars. keep it stock, maintain its reliabilty and get good mpgs. then save up for a sports car
yeah its not worth it lol. i plan on stopping after i install my downpipe if i even do undecided if i want to install it or not. i am planning on getting a turbo ss soooon. you wont get anywhere with these cars unless its SC or turbo.
i have a 08+ 2.4 intake manifold and throttle body for sale. pm me if you want it.

Well, it depends what you want to do with the car. With intake, intake mani, header, downpipe, catback, and tune you are looking to be around 160ish. If you are planning to do competitive racing, I was look into a new platform, or supercharge/turbo your car. If it is your daily driver, and you are looking at getting a little more performance out of it, they are worth your time then. Just have reasonable expectations when putting on bolt-ons, they won't transform your car into a sports car, but they will improve your cars performance.
