I have an 02 cavy and i want to build an engine for it what i want to do in my head is an l61 block with le5 crank to make a 2.4 and put an lsj head on it with the supercharger kit ive got laying arround. Any input? Can i just put an le5 block under an lsj head? With an l61 reluctor wheel?

 

Not sure it would be 2.4 using the 2.2 block. Why not do an LSJ with an LE5 crank? Someone else is building one now, good thread for sure.

can you guys link me to this thread.... i will try to find it!! now that my stock l61 has a rod knock im going to build something for it since we got another car and back to two cars....the problem is i dont have much experience with 4 cylinders. Im looking to build something as cheap as i can without cutting corners and making decent power.....looking at using a supercharger as well with a bigger pulley sorry didnt mean to hijack your thread if you want i can delete it
