All I have is a CAI and I can say I noticed it. I cant remember how my car acted before I did this any more but I can tell you that now its seems like ~2200 to ~4000 there's a noticeable drop in umpf. After ~4000 is where I'm glad I bought it

I'll keep my low-end. Thanks.

JK. I might be doing this soon too, but seriously, I like my low-end.

Boxed up, in my room, not sure if I'm wanting to do the swap.

I didn't hear about this losing the low end **** until after it was in my possession. I might be selling it on the contrary.

no but after you launch, when are you below 3500? never. you go through 3 gear to get to the end of the 1/4 mile yes? for that 4 seconds you're below 3500 you're above it for the other 11 seconds..

I didn't mean launch in the literal sense. I just mean cruising around.

The loss for me was experienced from 2200 to about 4200-4400. If your driving to the grociery store, you prolly dont need those few ft/lbs in that area, same goes for driving in the city/town. When I wanna move along I go above 4400

Luckily for me, my auto shifts at redline out of the box and then stays above 4k so I only have fun in my car with this mod

^^double negative but.. It isn't that noticeable. A 2.4 TB and a tune would also help alot after this.

not sure how you don't notice the drop in torque, but it's really there and you will notice. as for the top end, you can feel the pull and it's well worth it on a car you wanna wind out anyway.

2.4 IM is def worth it. like has been said many times on here before. you'll never be low enough in the RPMs when it matters to take note of the miniscule loss.

the high end is what you're going for. and if its that much of a bother to you find a 2.4 TB for 50$ as well and get a tune. you won't notice a thing.
