the high end is what you're going for. and if its that much of a bother to you find a 2.4 TB for 50$ as well and get a tune. you won't notice a thing.
so instead of getting an t/b spacer to fit the 2.2 t/b i should just get a 2.4 t/b as well and a tune then ?

well if youre really worried about losing your low end like everyone else says then i would skip buying the spacer. and get a 2.4 TB from the same year as yours and get a tune. it may end up costing you like 250 for the tune plus about 50 for the TB but its a great set of upgrades. the tune really opening her up for you.

ive only got an auto and i love the way the thing feels now. well. did feel. before i crashed it.

I got mine for NOTHING!!!!.....so THERE!!!!.....NO seriously, I got mine from a blown up G6 and if I had to pay $50 for it I would do it again! I have a 5spd and the drop in power is from idle to 3000-ish. It is noticable, but it seems normal from 3000 to 4000 and from 4000 and up it is pretty quick.

BTW I also have a cat back and CAI.

It will because I believe its the same intake or very similar. A 2.4L tb and/or a pnp I dont think is needed at this point. There is a graph on ecotecforum.com that explains the max possible airflow of both TBs and what the engine is trying to intake. 2.4l tb probably wont net you anything you can notice if at all. I'd save your $$.

Im thinking about doing a mani swap, but i dont have the cold air yet, but the header is on and pretty much straight piped after the cat. would i notice a big change in throttle response? i want to put my cams and ported and polished head in before a tune. what you all think?

your going to actually lose some throttle response unless ur at 4500 rpms or higher.. but its a great mod.
