i am considering this mod. if i got a 2.4 tb also could i tune that to work or is that not worth it?

 

blackbolt, u got the trifecta tune? curious about the diff. my 2.4 mani is sitting in my closet.

 

I have an 07 2.2 and put on an 08 2.4 manifold. With the manifold, 2.25" exhaust and a cold air, I pulled 140 to the wheels on the dyno. I'm not sure what stock is to the wheels.

 

mmm that sounds a bit week i did 138 stock on a dyno jet.....what kind of dyno were you on? i havent dynoed yet but i got CAI, catback, downpipe and the mani and tune are comming...?

Yea. It was on a dyno jet. Thats why i'm going FI.

 

How are you dynoing such low numbers. I have a 05 2.2L and when I was stock the two times it dynoed it was 159 the first time and 161 with a intake (homemade at the time).

 

that dyno must ve been way off theres no way a 2.2 with just an intake would put down 159 to the wheels

 

You sure you don't have a 2.4 sorry to be an ******* but the L61 2.2's came with 145hp and 155tq so how the hell you were making 159 to the WHEELS stock blows my mind and I would have to see video footage and graphs again sorry for being a dick.

 

good catch...in 05 the 2.4 wasn't yet available.

 

I think there was an issue with the dyno I was on. My best was 140hp and 132 tq.

 

I have to find my print outs but it was putting those numbers down. I think my cars a freak. At the 1/8 mile in Buffalo stock I was putting down 8.8 over and over again. It was at Innovation Tuneing in buffalo at there old shop.

 

i dynod 122whp 122wtq on a dynojet with just a K&N SRI but mines an auto but still if your actually putting down 159whp your cars a freak and a half but i dought it
