Your just buying the intake mani, there is really no difference between 2.2 and 2.4 cai

the 2.2 cai fits because you are just replacing the intake manifold, the original 2.2 throttle body mounts on to the 2.4 mani. and your cai intake connects onto your 2.2 throttle body hope that helps

You need to buy a 2.2 CAI(not fujita)if you dont have one already, the stock 2.2 intake tract doesnt like to fit properly once the 2.4 mnaifold is installed.

damn you beat me. you're only changing the intake manifold correct? you're not touching the throttle body so the intake for the 2.2 will still work. so go for it!

good deal, 2.2 CAI it is, I gotta stick with the NON-warranty voiding MODS for right now, throttle body will be after that expires, but for now just the MANI and a CAI on that side of the engine

side note... thank god everyone responding to my questions are geniuses

unfortunately right now no one offers an aftermarket throttle body. however mrz just released a mechanical thottle body for older 2.2s but is still in the works of making an electrical one for the newere 2.2s. you can swap a 2.4 throttle body as well but that would require a tune because it ***** up the throttle position sensor and makes the car go into "limp mode" theres also somone on here trying to swap the 2.0 lsj throttle body but i haven't heard much on that lately. but by the time your warranty voids im sure someone will have released something
