When i did it on my 2007, i got the kit from CED, and it came with a throttle body plate. Not sure if this is what your talking about?

Ok cool thx..just the money I'm saving on..cause were I work we do business direct with gmpp and get discounts so I spent like $80 for brand New mani, and like $15 for the pcv seal and brake booster hose...but I'm wondering if I can run it without the plate and stock 2.2 tb..until I get enough money for tune, adapter plate and lsj tb...thx

this.

i stockpiled all my parts and it was totally worth the 1 month wait to be able to afford it all.. not to mention so much easier to just do it all once and be done. took me like 1.5 hours total for the complete swap n the difference is a great change

Put the 2.4 mani on my 08 a few months back. Best power mod ever. I kept the 2.2 TB though cause I didn't want to tune anything. Difference is great. torque delivery is much smoother, it sounds deeper and meaner, and it pulls nice to redline.

I'm pretty sure 05 and 06 need that plate to use the stock TB with the 2.4 mani. I believe in 07 they cast the 2.2 TBs with the extra hole needed for the 2.4 mani.

Where did you get the manifold and what did you pay for it? I priced one about a year ago and it seems like the price has gone up since then. Looked one up on the locator today and dealer cost is about $365! I've heard its a good mod, but that is a little much in my opinion...
