I'm assuming you mean a whistling noise at partial throttle?

Unless you throw a code, I wouldn't worry about a thing.

In fact, if you throw a code I wouldn't worry. It would be an easy fix.

Just check to see that everything is tightened to spec and you are good. I'm sure that its just some noise that you'll have to live with.

Mine used to do that, it eventually went away though.

Check for an intake/vacuum leak.

I have the 2.4 intake on my 2009 2.2 (standard now) and I don't hear any noises like that.

Mine makes a suction sound. I gave a kid a ride and he asked me if my BOV was stuck open... I smiled and said yes.... Then giggled my ass off after he got out of the car.

mine has done that since the day i put my 2.4 manifold on with an injen cold air. i thought something was wrong. then i grew to like the sound. sounds kinda like a baby turbo spooiling or something. its awesome under overpasses.

the whistling you are hearing is coming from the little silver plate that goes in the center of the manifold. its nothing to worry about but when the whistling stops its plugged up with oil and needs to be cleaned. gm has aservice buliten out that has techs covering the hole and redrilling it off center to get rid of the whistle. its really no big deal but some people dont like their cars making those noises. ive fixed a few before. its really nothing to worry bout as long as you dont mind the sound.
