Ok guys i bought a 2.4 throttle body off of ebay, and i went to test fit it on my car, just to see if it was simple as 4 bolts and a clip. I bolted it into my 2.4 manifold, fit perfect, Went to clip in the Wiring harness and its completely different, can anyone fill me in on whats going on with this?

****, i was thinking and hoping it would be direct bolt on. I thought i heard something about someone doing it already, and their car went into limp mode.

 

dont repin. get the plug for it and then splice the wires from your 2.2 plug into that. I think there might be a diagram somewhere here.

 

swapping tb's isnt as simple as it sounds. you're going to have to tune the car also, so unless you have some way to tune it, its probably not going to work even if you do repin it.

on another note, if you're looking to sell that tb i'm lookin for one lol. returning to stock.

 

Well i could trade you for something beck, That interceptor gauge would be a very nice addition to my balt.

 

So does anyone know what i need to do to install this Throttle body?

And tuning is coming as soon as i figure this one out.
