can the 2.4 tb be bolted up to the 2.2 intake mani with no problems? im planning on getting the 2.4 intake mani and TB but i found the 2.4 on ebay for 10 bucks and i was just gonna buy it and out it on my 2.2. intake mani before i get in mani if there wouldnt be any issues

wait I have the 2.4 intake sitting in a box right now if I wanted to install that with a 2.4 tb and my k n intake for my 2.2 it would work if tuned?

 

You can install the intake manifold from a 2.4l cobalt on a 2.2
You can install the tb from a 2.4l cobalt on a 2.4l intake mani for a 2.2l cobalt but this requires a tune.

 

yes you can. i have verified it. it ll work but maybe need a tune for WOT.
