2005 2.2 with Nitrous

https://www.cobaltss.net/gallery/sho...80&c=newimages

Wanted to post this for all to see that thought about adding some nitrous to there 2.2 ecotecs. I ordered a cobalt in mid 2004, but sheet metal and headlight housing problems prevented me from getting it. After 2 months I was tired of waiting. The point is, this is a 2005 cavalier engine.

I've only ran a 55, although I could probably run a 75 without too big of a problem. Cold air intake, throttle spacer, cceramic header, dual carbon fiber 3" exhaust.

Ran the 75 shot today, no engine problem, although with 18x7.5 tires, and 2" lowering springs, it felt at first like my car was hopping. Really weird. Makes me want to not run it except for only dyno and track runs.

nope it's wet....I've had a 10 lb bottle since June of 05, and I still have a few runs left. I've only used it 9 times since I bought it. Really great power, but even though I know it won't destroy it immediately, don't want to take my chances. I got the N2O so I could get second boosts of power only when I want, opposed to all the time forced air. Don't think my suspenssion could take a lot of 75 shot runs. I did it twice, and it didnt feel like it really liked it. If someone wants to spend a lot of money upgrading the engine power, they better have enough to upgrade the suspension as well. I'm honestly not that much of a "car guy" to spend that much on it. If I had a billion dollars, still probably wouldn't. I have enough fun with what I got now......Don't need to try to break the sound barrier.
