does anyone know where i can find a header for an 07 2.2ltr cobalt?

 

How soon do you need it? You could have mine when I put my turbo kit in, but that isn't going to be till Aug.

Otherwise you can usually order replacement parts from GM. Turbotech racing has the Vibrant t304 stainless header on sale right now, turbotech and gravana have pacesetter headers.

 

the big question being do you have secondary air injection ::SAI::

 

All 2007's have SAI

 

Mine doesn't.

 

the general consensus is that to have SAI you have to have a vehicle made for california emissions. Luck of the draw

 

not all 07's. cali emissions along wit new york i believe have that requirement. my 07 = no SAI. You could try the new cobalt addiction header v2 also. not sure how good it is, you should prolly wait till people start buying that one and installing them.

you can tell if you have a hose coming from the air box to the exhaust

i just ordered the cobaltaddiction v1 header for my 07 ls (without SAI) its a pretty good deal. $220 shipped and bolts up to the stock downpipe on the 2.2 balts. as far as me not gettin the v2, the collector is bigger. it all depends on what you want for your car. happy modding!

 

just be careful 409, they v1 series had fitment problems on the 2.2s for some odd ass reason..

hopefully urs is fine thought.. those cobalt addiction headers look sick

yeah i read about the fitment issues after i ordered it but im workin on some solutions right now while its on the way. hopefully before it gets here

 

definately.. dont want any problems with a header.. The version 2 is just so very..idk.. sexy...cool.. idk.. must ask fiancee what she thinks..
