those race cams are too aggressive with the stock internals. you have to have all new everything to use those.

Where than? What are the part numbers from Comp. And do they have them for stage 1-3, blower, and turbo cams.

they have the extension and i think the sensor just presses on. so youd have to get a shop to put it on.

or maybe it comes with it, but i doubt that one.

ill most likely have them on friday or maybe early next week, and ill take a pic.

Get a picture of this on the cams, we would like to see this. Also, how do you "orientate" the press on part to the cam????

Pictures would be very informative to show this design change.

now im not sure but i would hope theres some kind of keyway or something like that to get it all ligned up perfectly... if not, you'd just have to try to get it close as possible... heres a pic of the sensor on the factory cams

That way everyone knows what they are looking at.

Did you order your cams from comp directly or from a vendor?

For the price he paid, looks like through COMP directly.

If he bought part number 113300 from comp cams direct and it cam with the sensor ring, so would the ones we sell....

We would like a pic to verify the comp cams DOES come with this in the kit, or already on the intake cam.

not talking about any adapter. from what ray bates and the guy on the cam help hotline @ comp cams tell me, the piece on the factory intake cam presses off and presses back on the aftermarket cams. the intake cam is longer by about 2-3 inches and has the circle that that piece in the picture presses on to.

yet to see it for myself, as the cams are in the mail at the moment.

ill post a pic as soon as i receive them! (yes i bought them from comp cams.. couldnt find any vendors that knew what i was talking about when i mentioned cam position sensor)
