2007 Cams?
if not, thats a $500 mistake..
not talking about any adapter. from what ray bates and the guy on the cam help hotline @ comp cams tell me, the piece on the factory intake cam presses off and presses back on the aftermarket cams. the intake cam is longer by about 2-3 inches and has the circle that that piece in the picture presses on to.
yet to see it for myself, as the cams are in the mail at the moment.
ill post a pic as soon as i receive them! (yes i bought them from comp cams.. couldnt find any vendors that knew what i was talking about when i mentioned cam position sensor)

Here is that part # cross-referenced on Summit... It's the same part # as the Stage 2 Camshaft I already sell... Which means that either a.) they lied to him; or b.) the CPS from the OE Camshaft pops off and fits onto this one...

it might be the same part # but different... meaning, there is probably a part #113300 w/o CPS and one w/CPS extension
i think comp cams buys the gm blanks, found here
http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...ges=1&pkgid=92
if you look one of them has the extension for the CPS.

pics:
part # 113301 and 113302:

extension off intake cam:

oil hole?

i called ray bates and he says on the older heads there used to be a bearing there and hes gonna see if my CPS ring presses onto this cam.
gonna update when he lets me know
read the whole thing before posting... you need to upgrade the valvetrain in the L61 for them to work. they would not work with the LSJ, but they will physically fit. i think these are for the strip cars though, not street.
"The GM Performance Parts ECOtec cam set (88958648 set or 88958636/7 individually) is an aggressive race cam. They are not stock-replacement cams; they require upgraded valve springs and retainers. These cams were designed for a race motor, using the 06 L61 as the starting point. The cams will not fit the 2.4L LE5 head and will not work with the stock ECM or lifters. They physically fit the 2.0L LSJ head, but the vacuum pump / cam sensor will not work in a stock engine."

we'll see. im trying them. ray from bates engineering is going to try to get the CPS to work with the intake cam.
most likely, i'll know for sure if it works anywhere from late this week to early next week.
