200whp 2.2
ok, i was just curious because i don't have enough money for a turbo right now and i was planning on doing full boltons. eventually i want to go turbo. thanks for the info guys and sorry for the new thread. i suck.
Just save up and get a turbo kit or an m62 when you can. If your goal is a v6 mustang, here's a little insight for you. I raced a friend with one and all I had was my stage 2 and an intake. We stayed even through first gear, and when we shifted into second, I left him behind to the point where I didn't even get past 60 before he shut down.
are a nuts? a 1999-2004 v6 mustang is a 16 second car. High 15's if its a manual with a good driver. Basic bolton 2.2 cobalt should be able to take it. And a STOCK 2.4 would beat them
I love how everyone says you have the wrong model... You can push more hp than an ss/sc with there supercharger. Just save untill you can charge. Also you can run a 16.5 with a cobalt ls bone stock if your aa good driver.

rofls, you will be lucky to get past the point of puttin on a stage2 pulley, injectors, and a tune before you break ****. the 2.2 internals are only good to what about 250 hp? a lot of turbo swapped lsj guys or even tvs guys are way passed that number
i don't think you guys understand haha. i'm 18 working a minimum wage job and i get about $100 a week. i'm broke as ****. i would love to have a turbo right now but its way out of my price range
i don't think you guys understand. i'm 18 working minimum wage job like 20 hours a week. i get about a 100 dollar paycheck each week. i would love to have a turbo but i just don't have the funds.
what would need to be done if i did want to do internals?

V6 Mustangs (except newer ones) are ****. Ive beaten an intake/full exhaust auto like he was standing still and ive beaten a stock manual V6 also like it was standing still and i only have intake and exhaust no tune. So if your looking to race cars like that then you should be able to afford the basic bolt ons with your job if you can save a bit.
Take some advice that i was first told on here when i had a shitty job and was borke but wanted to mod my car.
"you gotta pay to play"
Also, take a look at some of our supporting vendors, internals are not cheap at all.
