Building the motor will prolly cost more than a turbo or super kit. Just stick with bolt on's and a tune. lookin at a max of prolly 160whp. If ya got the cahonnes, get some spray going. That will put you over the 200 mark(obviously not constant power though....)

The v6 that I raced was an 07. I never wasted my time with the older models, though those were the ones that always wanted to race. I was wondering why you guys got so **** just now about the mustang and realized the year model that he called out. And to whoever said the ls motor can handle more hp from the blower, I'd love to see someone with a 2.2 push out 21 lbs boost and still have a car that runs. I did that with the tvs and the car ran fine.

the V6 Mustangs prior to 2005 are kinda a joke............. Yes they are beatable because they are pretty heavy and really dont put down the power well. My 2.2 doesnt fair too badly againts my 2000 Mustang GT. I still lose but I hang in there pretty well and the Mustangs better hope to GOD they dont have to turn, then they are screwed!

I have beaten stock v6 mustangs when i was stock.. its a drivers race between a 2.2 and a v6 mustang. As for the newer v6 mustangs. Get fully bolted and your even again.

Yea like most have said. The older ones are a joke. My buddy with the auto put bbk intake and magnaflow duel exhaust and i raced him from a 40 and a dig and beat him both times fairly easly. Now im not saying that there arnt fast ones out there but you every day v6's are slow. My gf owns a 2000 5spd v6 and i hate driving it since its gutless.

If you really eventually want to go turbo then dont waste your money on bolt - ons. All the money you spend on intake and exhaust parts will be replaced by the turbo kit. So like others said, just save up. Or make an intake its cheap, plus you'll get a couple ponies with the added bonus of getting more mpg's.

youde have to do it the way they normally do with na motors. rev's. spin the **** outta the motor but it wont be a bolt on deal. i'd rather be an all motor guy too but its hard to be on top without FI these days.

u woudlnt blow it up. Nitrous is just as safe as going turbo or supercharged if done properly. Just do a 50 wet shot of nitrous and u be in the 180 whp range. Give u a consisted high 14/low 15 second car

L61 internals are good for about 250 whp max before you gotta start worrying about breaking sometthing. a 50 shot is more then safe as long as you do it right. Also much cheaper then doing a supercharged/ turbo build.

Well...that depends on much u use it, it will add up when u refill the bottle, but with a 50 shot it wont empty the bottle that quickly

you can get kits form 350-600 and you should look at copsons balt i is manuel, but the thing sounds like a bease and looks like it moves ) best bet is just to do what he did full bolt ons, cams,tb and nice tune... your might see 170whp and you can put a very safe shot of nos 35 to achieve your 200 marker

wow when iam excited my spelling sucks

Oh no not another one of these.

One word, and one word only guys, NITROUS!

And maybe some good tires/traction mods and you'll be low 14's high 13's.

I dont think 200whp is possible NA without any internal mods. I dont think theres a "probably" involve, I am gonna say you MUST have inernal mods to hit 20whp NA

So you guys dont think the L61, LE5, and LAP can make 200 with cams, valves, ect? I thought maybe after 7k dropped into one that you might get 200 on an N/A.
