i am having internet problems... sorry. the water sloshing noise was weeks after the accident though... the dealer originally thought it was an air bubble in the coolant, but it was the head gasket!?!?!?!?!

thanks

Oh, I forgot to tell you all my a/c condenser was destroyed too. When it was on blue, the air was hot. When the adjuster was on red, it was cooler!?!?!?!?!?!!!

I'm suprised it didn't shut itself off . I would have thought it would have atleast went into limp mode.

you tell them that your car is not leaving there dealership until everything is fixed like new. That sucks bro. I would try and lemon that but i think the rule is you have to give them 3 times to try and fix it. Annoy the **** out of them that way they dont want you back and fix everything right.

i was thinking it could have been an air pocket. at 300* i think it would run funny. i dont think it would even operate normal. but i could be wrong.

it you did hit an animal and thats why your car ran hot, you can get your insurance to fix it.

my dealership already hates me.... if they didn't know me this well, i would have been driving my car around with a blown head gasket

if you read earlier it was a lemon, and i was going to the dealer, but i had the accident... so i just closed the case i WILL talk to them about it.... even though it has been in an accident, of sorts, can it still be defined as a lemon in Florida????

I noticed one of my fans weren't plugged in when I picked up my car. You would think they would have caught that on the predelivery inspection. But nonetheless i noticed an unplugged cord and brought it back.

in jan, i was cleaning my engine compartment, when i noticed that my bumper had duct tape on the inside, i peeled it off. my bumper fell. i brought it to the dealer and made them fix it. has your dealer done that to you?????? like i will always say, my dealer hates me... i am truthfully down there at least one time a week, sometimes two; they never fix anything right for me.....the bumper not lining up against the hood was my lemon problem, along with my spoiler's paint the first time, and it coming off the second time...

No man, that sounds really bad. My dealer has been ok so far. Since it is still under warranty perhaps try finding a different dealer.

the next closest dealer to me is really far from where i live. should i go to the pontiac/GMC dealer instead since the cobalt is aka the G5??

btw. the spoiler i am on right now is coming up too, i have not even been to the car wash...

(I like to wash my car myself, i do a better job, and it is cheaper, and i relaxes me)

That's nuts, I thought I was running hot when my temp got up to 210 after some grandma decided to back up into my car and pushed my front bumper and hood in. Not to thread jack but does anyone know how to fix the air bag sensor? My Service air bag warning came on the DIC a couple of weeks ago. I dont know if there's one in the bumper area or if someone just kicking it loose from under the passanger seat, just annoyed with the constant beeping every time i start up the car.

actually my 2.2 usually ran at 235*F for normal operating temperature.

and i have no idea n the airbag sensor. i would definitely go to the stealer about that one.

which would you want:

when i was going home one day i saw my old cobalt and decided to whip out a few quick pics LOL.
