blinker module?

ok so ill put my right blinker to take a right turn (obviously) and it clicks on fine but when the turn is completed and i go to straighten out the wheels to stop turning it doesnt automatically shut off so i have to click the blinker thing down myself to shut it off. its not a big deal but its more of a nuisance than anything. any ideas on why this is happening?

take a look at the naked stalk, pull the cover off and see if somethings amiss. that's what i'd do.

I had to have my turn signal switch replaced because of this very thing. But it was covered by the warranty.

what's this switch you speak of and how exactly did they replace it? is it the single stalk, part of it, plugged into it, under the hood?????? you get the idea. this sound like a simple diy, if it's not able to be warrantied.

the turn signal switch is the turn signal switch, its the thing you grab with your hand......also has your headlights on it....... the canceling mechanism for the turn signal are in that switch, its just a little tiny lever set in the column. if it doesnt work you need a new switch Its usually called a turn signal multifunction switch
