I started synthetic about 20k miles ago or so and im almost 70k now. Definitely synthetic though.

Just get 93 running through a couple tanks before install. I would change fuel filter and plugs so your tune can be spot on.

other than the longer change increment, idk why he should have been running it. it helps, but it's not needed. But yes, I agree, once he goes turbo, you should put nothing but synthetic. x2 on filter and plugs.

deopend on how many miles.....going from a dino oil to a syn oil can make oil leaks that have been hidden before show up.

You're car won't get used to running 93 either. That will all change when you install the tune. Just make sure come install day it's all 93 in there otherwise put some octane booster in.

x2 on the royal purple oil. I change mine when the oil life gets to 0% at around 7500 miles or so and still looks great when it comes out. I also change the oil filter at 50%

Synthetic is synthetic boys. Most oil comes from the same plant. Royal purple, Mobil, Castrol. It's all better than conventional. Pumped to get going on this guys
