You need a way to increase the line pressure to make a stronger shift in the transmission.

it says in his sig. hes using a AEM FIC to tune for the larger injectors. im assuming he's using a wet nitrous kit, so the diff injector size is the only thing that needed a tune. it also looks like hes planning on going turbo in the future tho.

bingo, he answered the question for me.

The AEM f/ic controlls pulse width allowing you to use larger size injectors while sending stock signals back to the factory ecu. This is the very basic and minimum to pull off tuning w/ out using extra injectors and what not.

I use a 2 stage nitrous set up. in stage 1 i use a 50hp shot dry that is activated by a window switch at 3,000rpms. it then shuts off at 6,000rpms to allow the car to shift at 6500rpms and then in second gear it hits stage 2 which i have set to activate at 4200rpms in which it uses the 50hp dry shot and a 75hp wet shot at the same time for a total of 125hp from 2nd gear on. It also shuts off at 6,000rpms to allow it to shift to the next gear.

Turbo, yes, its in the very near future. I just bought an STS turbo system last night and is on its way to my parents house where it will sit and wait for me to come back from deployment. Once i get back im going home on leave and picking it up and then taking it back to VA and have dyno tuned performace install it and another shop doing the custom pipe bending for the charge piping.
