Ok so the stock pads are supposedly ceramic. I'm wondering if A this is true and if so is it ok to go with semi metallic ones to replace them.. my rotors are shot to and i'm wondering if this is because if the pads are ceramic and hold the heat that the rotors warped because they can't withhold those temps.

 

i highly doubt we had ceramic stock.

i got my car with 55k miles so they werent stock anyway.

mine are warped to hell now too, uess thats what a couple 70-0 stops do for them, friggin beach traffic!

 

Every place I've been OEM replacements have been ceramic.
