building the motor!

Question I'm planing on building it I'm doing e85, pistons (8.5.1), eagle h beam rods, cometic headgasket, arp headstuds, rod bearings what els should I do while the motor is appart was thinking water pump and ya injectors are nessisary for e85 and the power I'm going for and then tune but ya what els u think??

new timing chain kit fo sho, new gasket set, and use assembly lube or u wont like the outcome. Other than that u should be pretty good, good luck and double chack specs and use proper torque specs

Turbo or SC? For SC that comp is super duper low, for a turbo thats the kind of comp you would aim for when trying to push the over 40psi area shooting for the over 600 wheel area. Either way its going to be a complete bitch when you're not in boost and your gas mileage will suffer.

I think you'd like it better with 9.5:1 pistons, especially since you are going with e.

valve springs faux sho.ours seem to float valves past ~13 psi.

Lol? all stock eco valves are the same, and 14psi at 7k rpm with no valve float and how many lnf guys have pushed that tiny turbo to 30+ psi?

I said springs,not valves My buddys 2.2 turbo started floating past 13.Couldnt figure out the misfires it had up top.now that he has zzp springs,he's up to 23ish with no float.not saying they all do this,as mine is at 13 with no float,but some do.better safe than sorry

And I meant to say valve springs because all the valves are in fact not the same.
