And I'm sure you're going to have just as much fun with the SI

I don't understand why people hate on hondas.

Hate on the retarded drivers of hondas, not the cars them selves.

nice upgrade then!! imo the newer body civics (06?^) are the only civics i would ever think about buying, all hondas before 2006? i think are hideous (-s2000 and nsx of cource). but anyways lol nice upcoming car!!! deff need to post pics! you will like the 6spd i bet haha

Don't know - they've pinched the nose in a little bit much for my taste. And isn't the Si packing a whopping 2.0l now? Seems you'll need all six of those bicycle gears to get it going....

New Sis have been packing the 2.0.

Not a bad car really. Only Civic I would buy would be that or the 99-2000 Si.

:/ ehh for the price id say ss/tc > SI. But it depends on what your wanting it for. Looking for a DD civic is better choice. I'm kind of a power for price junky. 197 hp on a $22k 2.0 N/A seems high and like it wouldn't have much extra power to pull out of it easily, but I've been wrong before. But it's not like ur dropout 20g's on a geo metro. Everyone likes different ****, hope you like it! Once u get it you can act out the "my new Honda" video

Si > 2.2 So you made a good choice haha

I've driven a 06 Si before, they are fun cars to drive, just the fact of no power until like 6k RPM's annoyed me

I like the quality and the smoothness of the si. Shifts are nice. The bad is, it is pretty slow, but makes alot of noise which I'm sure with a flash and a little mods it can be fixed.

ss/tc over an si any day of the week even for a dd but the si is not a bad choice. the sport compact scene is very competitive these days and all of them are good bang for the buck

YouTube - X's honda sounds

I miss my swapped, gutted '91 Si. Full bolt on JDM B16 swap and SiR tranny with a Zdyne ECU and a 10 point roll cage on Tein suspension. 160 hp in a car that weighed about 1900lbs wet...so much fun. If I could find that car again...I'd buy it back in a hearbeat for twice what I sold it for. Needed money and sold it to a Mexican (surprise). The new Si's have freaking awesome seats. So comfortable for long trips...unlike the rock hard seats in my car. You'll enjoy the heck out of it! Post up some pics!!
