should be interesting, lets see the steps involved.

either way imo it's a waste, because the passive TC is very good, it only goes to **** when it fully engages (where it cuts your power and leaves you sliding in whatever direction you were heading)

It sets off the alarm though, correct?

I'd rather add a switch into the ABS2 circuit.

Defeat ABS and T/C at the same time

It does the exact same thing tht would happen if you clicked your Ebrake up one, (without the braking of course). You get an annoying dash chime for the time the T/C is off but thats it.

ya another way would have been to take the fuses panel off and add a switch before the fuse. maybe i should have dont tht... hmmm

I don't have a problem spinning the **** outta my tires, and I got a 07. I can take a turn, and roast em all the way outta the turn.

I have bounced off the rev limiter with my auto before. I had it in L, spun all the way through first, then all the way through second, and slammed into 6500rpms. And it felt like the car hit a brick wall. The Rpms dropped to 4000 instantly. Now that scared the **** outta me, I thought I broke something.

This thread is funny, seriously doesn't your town or city have some group of people you don't like, ie. goth kids. when i hit a patch of ice; i have many choices to just go hit another vehicle, or side of a building. I quickly make some hard decisions. So aim for that group you don't like (i do not promote racism, run over your own color damnit!) so far me, my gf, and baby are safe. and the other people driving were safe. As for the people aka cushioning devices; they are dressed up goth, just have a letter typed up on the computer of how "I hate my life, mom and dad are to rich and buy me everything i need. They don't understand my pain!!" drop it on them, problem solved.

...wait whats that, oh man homicide detectives! gotta go!

I definitely like having a button for it. Wanna roast the tires, turn it off :-) Hold it for a few seconds and Stabili-Trak and TC go off.

i posted my true response about this in the "how unlucky am I" thread. it's very informative and explains in full detail about the traction control and how it works.

Abs with my Altimax Artics works like a dream in snow, better than without.

However abs is way worse on the ice. I will give you that anyday.

For my tc delete I just pull up parking brake 1 click, or use low when I'm on our rallycross track.

I wonder if you can remove center council and put a pushbutton switch to remove tc (false trigger that ebrake is up and remove the ding sound)

Better option

People may say one click wont hurt but any engagement of the e-brake is gonna put unnecessary strain on the motor, just wire a toggle switch to the blue wire going from your hand brake and than to ground and flip it when you wanna do burnouts or launch a little, and still have the use of the ebrake when you need it. This way your back wheels still spin freely buddy
