will do on the vids
called vince and are tuning next tuesday

11am my time

only doing a road tune now as i am tight on cash (gf lost her job) and then will dyno seperatly
im guessing a 14.5ish on the 1/4. i ran a 15.4 with stock tires, header, dp, and cold air intake with a partial beta road tune....SOOOOOO i FULLY expect to hit the 14s in the 1/4 mile time
and yes, i tried the zip tie trick, f'd the timing and bent all 8 exhaust valves, car has been down for a month+ now and has cost me extra money that i didnt want to spend...do it right the first time and time it while your doing it, it will teach you alot and be right the first time..head pulling is no fun
thanks OBZ, im not the guru of ecotecs by any means, but after all the work ive done with my car id like to think i know a bit about them
...
AND love to help you all, so...if ive done it, or you think i can help with it, ASK!!! ill help if i can

I've got a question for you: What position did you put the cams before you took them out? ie did you put cylinder #1 at TDC? I have seen several different instructions. My Chilton manual said to put #1 at 60 degrees before TDC. I've read through the cam install instructions and it is straightforward, I'm just wondering about this particular step. Thanks.

just rem, do it the long way and time the whole thing, cutting corners=suck
After reading this I'm glad I payed 3 hours labour to get my cams done by a shop. I just could not get the GM dealer to loan me the Cam Holding Tool and my mechanic is friends with the guys at that dealership so he got it no problem.
Good to see you got her running.
