well i drove through what i like to call Lake Pope... it had been raining for like a day and a half straight and im coming down the hill.. and couldnt get over and had a Mack truck on my ass.. so i hoped for the best and rolled through the Puddle ( LAKE) so yeah it was probobly submerged where it used to be.. When i go back to CAI intake it will be in a betteer spot for air flow and water protection

IMHO the best thing to do to keep away from a wet filter and a heat soaked filter is to get a SRI system into the car then try to find a way to get more air into the engine bay. I am still looking for some sort of ram air scoupe that is really low profile (i do like the RK Sport hood). It will cover the air flow cooler air problem and you shouldnt see any issues with a dripping filter!
