Cleaned throttle body

Just a few min's ago i changed the oil and cleaned the TB on my wifes 2.2. I have seen a few threads that people are haveing issues with idle after cleaning. I hosed the tb down with carb and tb cleaner and brushed it with a chemical resistant brush. I did it with the tb on the car, started it up and it ran just fine. I don't understand why people are havein idle issues after doing this.

IIRC it was that people who were having idle issues were advised to clean the TB, not that people who cleaned the TB had issues afterwards.

steve did this and manually moved the butterfly and had problems, so we swapped to my spare and it was fine, we are thinking that by manually moving the tb butterfly you are causing problems with the idles position

I manually moved the throttle plate. I don't see what would cause that issue

there are gears and electric motors in it, if you move it against what it wants to do you can move the pieces inside that tell it what its supposed to be at and what idle is
