cobalt ls

my car is a 2006 cobalt ls and every time i stop to fast the car will try to shut off and sometimes shut off. I tried to adjust the throttle body but its all computerized. what could be the reason that its doing this?

remove your TB (carefully) and clean it. Crap builds up on the TB, which makes it harder for the ECM to get a good idle, so upon deceleration, it will bog and occasionally turn off

I had a Dodge Daytona that would do this.
It happened after I had the exhaust upgraded.
The shift points that car learned to be optimal were no longer optimal due to the change.

It can also be a change in the car like a leaking vaccuum line or any other upgrade or mod.

The fix was a computer reset, it relearned the optimum shift points on the transmission and AFR.

The car knew to give a little more fuel at a stop so it wouldn't crap out.
