1. Would I gain anything out of a throttle body spacer?

2. I have 16inch wheels, is there any drawbacks to going up to 18's?

A TB spacer would be a waste of money IMO.

Disadvantage to going to 18's would be the extra rotational mass. That would mean slower acceleration. They look good though.

Another thing: your speedometer will be off if you go to 18's.

Do you think it would be worth going to 18s then? Honestly I am more worried about my speed then my wheels. I just dont want to put low profile tires on my 16inch wheels because I think that would look kinda weak.

I went in the middle and got 17's with a 45 sidewall. They are about the same size as my 15's with the 55 sidewall, so the speedo isn't really off at all.

Here is a shot of the wheels so you can get a feel for how much they fill in the wheel well:

TB spacer isn't really good for anything unless you are going to spray or you are going f/i and need a spot to mount a vac/boost gauge line....other than that the air has a longer way to travel thus taking away some of the power....

TB spacers are only worth it in v8 engines. It swirls the air which allows it to travel faster and distributes more evenly into all 8 cylinders.
