Folks, don't get too excited. He ran at the lapeer dirtway and only ran stock SS/SC times.

Also he is only 60% done with tuning (last I heard). That thing is running stupid rich too. Ever watch a diesel go down the road? It's like a plum of black smoke everytime he hits the thorttle. Car is capable I'm sure of better times but nothing past high 13's in his setup with stock motor.

thats not enough to take out any of the previously listed cars. I'm assuming hes having traction issues though at the track and these were roll races

so its a generic turbo hu? i have heard many good things about ebay turbos...honestly i have, people have reported them to work after 10k, 20k, even 30k...wanna know the drawback?? even more people have reported them go leak at 5 miles, have shaft play at 100....those things r hit or miss from what i have read in multiple forums, including the eclipse forum as many of them run the ebay 16g, most them r pulling and exposing them turbos to high boost levels, and the turbos like it, other leave it to factory settings and blow t hem, its a hit or miss

you mean 11.5-12.0

low 11's for the way he drives and that weak motor will prove to be a good thing.

you really need a EGT gauge and a dyno to really see what ur car likes the most but to be safe id keep it in the 11 to 11.5 range. just be safe and treat ur tranny nice.

Hah, well if he raced all those cars from a dig (exception of other cobalts) he would be slaugthered. Roll races for him.

...anyways...

thanks goes out to timmy here for letting me use his garage to put my stuff on.

me and him knocked this bad boy out in a week. spend countless hours on it, and gave him some time away from his car for my car. all the tools for the most part were at his house. my biggest and greatest gratitude goes out to him. which btw i cant WAIT for ur turbo to be done
And what about all the time I spent with Scott and Gary making sure all the parts fit properly and figuring out how to make stuff work that didn't the first time before you even bought the stuff even though you weren't there that day, or all the know how I put into it because I already did something like this before...

Not trying to start anything, just making sure your giving credit where it's due. The way your typing is making it seem like you did all the work with me and others helping now and then...

It's the driver not the car Car is more than capable. Let me drive ol' red one last time. Besides I never went back into HPT to turn up the boost in 1st gear. It's only running like 1/2 boost.

sorry tim, i overlooked that stuff. ya timmy here was a big help. i gave credit to gary, its just he was banned on here. and ya scott was gratious enough to let me test fit parts.

u....do....realize....that...it...was....a...40mph ....ROLL race.

driver or not.......were talking about doing 1 SINGLE SHIFT from 2nd-3rd.........doesnt take much effort to do 1 quick shift like that.

so im sticking to what i said, and its the tune thats BAD and not because of 1/2 boost in 1st gear.

I feel like every 2.2 is going turbo but me.

I need to get out of training on this job so I can start getting some commission.
