Like I said, he's got a good bit of traction mods. I don't doubt it one bit, but we'd all love to see it if he's got a vid or a slip.

ya stock clutch.I blew out 2nd gear at the track.Literally 2nd gear was completely gone, nothing there at all.Took it to the dealer and they said they had alot of problems with the cobalts and the trannys,so they replaced the transmission and clutch since it was defective as well. Its about 6 months old now(the clutch and trans)

My clutch didn't go out in my RX-7 until around 90k I believe.

Nah.Ive been NLS'ing since I got it back and its holdong up very well.I think I heard the trans tech say they were using improved trans internals to get rid of this problem which is believable cause ive been beating the **** out of this transmission and its not breaking lol

then you just fail at doing it .. i have 66k on my car, learned to drive stick on it and had the clutch master cylinder go and the slave go ... and my tranny is fine .... unless you had a shitty tranny to begin with .. then WTF are you NLSing for lol

well the tranny was good.then after the first couple times NLS'ing at the track 2nd started grinding.I made an appointment to get it looked at the following saturday but we had a balt meet at the track and everyone was racing so I was like **** it.Well after the 3rd run 2nd went out completely.but hay that was 6-8 months ago when it got fixed and ive been NLS'ing and beating the **** out of it just to see if it will break again and we are good.

haha...whether or not im first, id put cold hard cash on being the fastest
im waiting on head bolts to get shipped (special order for ced aparently) and to replace the valves...then i should be good to go...
as of now she is sitting dead outside

stg2 cams, shaved head, lsj injectors, 2.4 tb, 2.4 intake mani, cold air intake, lightweight crank pulley, lightweight alt pulley, 4-2-1 header, 2.5" catless dp, 3" mandral bent cia exhaust, ttr tranny mounts, ttr solid engine mount, kuhmo ecsta tires (better then stock lol), lowered on tc struts and h&r springs (less weight shift and no wheel hop), short throw shifter, some weight reduction(rear seats, spare, subox, trunk carpet, etc), and in person trifecta dyno tune.......and i know how to drive
i run on royal purple oil and shell vpower as well as running in the pacific north west....which is the most ideal place in the country to run a car performance wise.
