Does the fuse for the SAI affect anything else?

I put my vibrant header and catless dp on my car and removed the SAI pump and 2.2 mani. I want to pull the fuse ( which I think it is labeled as AIR PUMP, is that the right one?) but don't know if it ties into anything else. I am tired of hearing the vacuum sound when I start the car up, it's louder and more annoying now.

you removed the SAI pump but you still hear the vaccumm sound? i believe you need to flash it out of your ECU before you can remove anything without having a CEL

I got to listening to it right now, I don't think its the SAI, i think it was a air leak, i tightened everything again and I don't hear it anymore. LOL oh well. I can't afford the tune right now and want to get my 2.4 mani and TB before I purchase it, I can survive with the CEL for now. Only thing I wish I had was the high flow cat, sounds a lil too raspy for me, would a resonator tone it down a little or would it be better to cat it?

use a cat, theres no reason not to. 2.2's sound like ass without a cat, and the SAI motor will only kick on and suck in air if your engine is doing a cold startup

if the temp is above 90 or so it wont do it

Yeah I might have to go see how much it would cost to get a cat put on tomorrow, I can't stand the ricer sound. My borla exhaust deserves better then that

the cat is not slowing you down any, and just about every car (with exception of some turbo cars) sound like absolute **** without the cat

now my 200sx sounded like SEX running just open turbo

I'll think about it, 'cuz I really don't like the way it sounds right now. Embarrassing ricer sound... lol

Well the cat is going to have to wait until I order one online. Exhaust shop told me they won't put a universal cat on the car due to CA smog laws (damn CA), but they would sell one to me for $180 bucks (I know, right?). I can order a whole DP from mandrelexhaustsystems.com w/ high flow cat for $195, it won't work with my header but just saying. Going to have to order one online and just weld it in myself, unless someone has one they can hook me up with?? LOL Sound clips will have to wait...
