Depends on which tune.. I got gms1 .. Cost me $60 for 3 pulls... Gained about 40whp and 72 wtq

not sure what youd see for a tune on an SC

I did a stock dyno when I first bought my car. I started with 112hp and 111tq with an auto. I'm not sure that it was accurate, they had a hard time with my car and I don't think they were very good at running auto's on the dyno plus it was a Dyno Dynamics and I don't know how those compare to others.

Anyway, I need to get back and dyno again, but the shop where I did my first one, closed down so it will be on a different dyno now...but I look forward to seeing what my mods have done for me...I just tuned with Trifecta this past weekend (the initial tune...I'm waiting for Vince to get some time to get back to me after looking over my datalogging)...hopefully there isn't much needed to tweak. My goal is MPG's, but there is definitely a decent amount of power now.

I'm hoping that the original dyno wasn't done correctly for my sake...lol...

I want to get back on and I hope to see with Injen CAI, Pacesetter header, Exhaust Depot DP, LSJ cat-back, TTR engine and tranny mounts, and Trifecta tune at least 135-140whp....I don't think that's too much to ask for considering. I'd really like to see 150, but that is a bit much I believe.

I have a 2.4 IM and TB in my garage, but I need to figure out the 8-pin to 6-pin deal (mine is 6-pin...I have a wiring diagram)...I'm thinking I might throw the IM on there in the next couple weeks and see what happens without re-tuning...if it seems good, I'll finish up the harness on the TB and get Vince to re-tune me for those two upgrades. With those I had better well be at 150whp.

You tell them what you have done to your car...then you choose whether you want the data cable or the handheld tuner...if you have a laptop/netbook (I bought a netbook, good excuse to buy one) so I could use the cable. That route is better according to Vince because it data logs better than the handheld does. Either one works just fine though...once you data log and send the info back to him, he will tweak the tune as necessary.

I paid $470 total...the breakdown is $250 for the tune, $20 for shipping the cable to me (and the prepaid label to ship it back), then $200 for a deposit...refundable as long as I return the cable. If you get the handheld it's a little more for shipping, otherwise it's the same basic price.
