there is probably a little lock ring on one of the lugs. if not make sure it spins freely, if it does hit it with a biger hammer right in the center in between the studs

You're not beating on it hard or long enough. Trust me... it took me two hours of pounding with a sledgehammer to finally break my driver front rotor loose from all the rust. Rust can glue the rotor or drum to the hub pretty well.

PB blast (Or other penetrating oil) may also help.

If the drum is stuck and doesnt move at all, then you need use a bigger hammer.

I use a 48oz deadblow, works like a champ.

If the drum is loose but wont pull off you need to adjust the shoes smaller.

Theres a little rubber plug on the backing plate, pop it off and adjust the brakes by turning the wheel "up"

Did you adjust the starwheel in the back? there is a rubber plug below the bleeder valve. adjust the starwheel toward the front of the car. Also check and make sure the thin metal retainers are not on the studs, if they are still on there, its not gonna come off. Use a mallet and thick flathead screwdriver.
