Shouldn't throw a CEL, my friends car hasnt and it's been like that for over a year

Well think of it this way, If you ever do get a CEL, and it's related, all you have to do is connect the pipe to the intake somehow, no biggie.

It's not something that will cause functionality issues

I got mine yesterday. Opened the box today to find intercooler piping kit....

8 Cuplers
16 T bolts
8 assorted pipes, some with bends and what not.


I got a steal. For $44 I got a $100 worth of piping.

Yeah. It's the $189.99 dollar Intercooler kit, minus the intercooler.

Invoice reads correctly... i just got the wrong item. Can't use the charge pipes as an intake because they are too small.

You'd be better off buying the one they sell. THe one at autozone won't have the appropriate cut-out for the MAF sensor.

It's an intake... looks pretty. makes a cool noise when you rump the gas. Improved horsepower and torque.

ok now i have the ls base model and its an auto.

LAME.

i know but was all i could afford does anyone hear the wwwhhiiiiisssssiinng when you hit the gas?? stock? deos anyone know what that is and how much diffrent does the cold air make in a sound diff. does some one have a sound clip

i believe the sound your hearin is the bearings in the alternator.. it kinda sounds like a turbo spoiling up.. is that the sound your talking bout?
