ebay intake for less....
i had the same problem and we heated them up with a heater and forced them on it took alot of time but it worked its also a bitch to get the intake pipeing int the 90 also you might want to try that first and the clamps it came with dont fit so if your trying to get it on with those on it it wont work
I got mine to fit, lots of elbow grease lol. I put in a bunch of copper insulation around the piping to keep it from grinding up against the metal to create holes or scratches. And the clamps worked for me dude and there tight as can be.
And it's going to be awhile before they get anymore intakes in.
I'm new to changing things on a car and don't know much about them in general. Is it possible to take an 2006 LT 2.2 Auto and give it a turbo? What else can I do to my car. I just got an air intake and new headlights but performance wise what else can I get? Can I use this website as well to get some of those parts? I'm not made of money. Haha.
Ok.....so after digging through LOTS of posts on this cheap ass intake, it seems the company is still around and has it available for purchase again. Would you guys go as far to say it works as good as say, AEM or Injen if you were to put a quality filter on it? If I get one, I will prolly heat wrap it too for better insulating properties. And on a side note, how the hell is it $15 for standard UPS/Fedex ground shipping for the thing??
