people have used it already with the cobalt so u kno it works, cant remember who tho lol

it looks like the new smt8 if u can afford it is freaking amazing...

wow... the smt8 alows electronic throttle control... thts a GREAT feature for a piggy bak. it loads its own tables onto a computer where u can edit them. a bit better than the AEMs guess and check

You dont want to use the smt6/7/8 if your not going to use secondary injection. They are designed to add fuel by controlling a second single or set of injectors like my car is running. Im going to be converting from a single extra injector to 4.

Yes. Vids are a must!!
Minus MAF and BOV bungs, vaccum lines, boost guage and a downpipe..perhaps more I didn't notice.

I win

I hate to burst your bubble but I don't think that manifold is going to work due to space.Yes you said it fit on a sunfire fine, but you have a Cobalt.Notice how the flange is center mount (atleast thats deff what the pic looks like) so it probably came of a 2.2 2200..well Cobalts need a downward mounted flange for everything to fit (look at Hahn and Vulcan Cobalt manifolds and whatnot).Check it out on this site. http://www.vulcanturbo.com/GMmanifolds.html

Here I found a pic of my old manifold..see what I'm talking about?

Notice the the quote I replied to said "in the pictures provided" and what I mentioned isn't in the pics. Haha, it's better than finding out yourself about the manifold.

hrm, i've heard that the sunfire and cav manifold do work on our cars... there is another guy with a boosted 2.2 that is running a random cavi manifold so i don't see why it wouldn't work.

Hmm, it might there are several things to factor from the actual manifold design to turbo size.I'm just going by what I've heard.

You would think though that they changed the all the manifolds to an angled flange for a reason though..

-shrugs- like i said i don't know definatelly i just know i've talked to a guy with a functional 2.2 turbo thats running a cavy manifold wether or not he had to modify the manifold i don't know as i didn't ask. so i'm just stating that i have talked to someone running a cavi manifold.

i don't know much about it so i wont tread on ground i know nothing about.
