f23 tranny question

I am looking to do a turbo build and have the parts to be over 400 hp. I have a new clutch and flywheel but my tranny is stock. Will the tranny hold up or is there anything i can do to make it stronger and hold up. any info will help due to me not knowing a while lot about 5 speed trannys.

get a lsd and cryo the trani is pretty much all you can do.. Dont jam through the gears or it will blow up before you know it.

Heat treated so the gears are stronger.

Hmmm interesting. Probably cost a pretty penny to do that. I imagine you'd have to take the whole tranny to them. But it would be worth it since it would make it last 3x longer by doing this process.

you dont think a little less than 300whp would effect the tranny stock do you? or does a lsd really help that much

the LSD is just gonna help keep you from doing big nasty one wheel spins and destroying your final drive.

An F23 can handle 300hp no problem.
