Final clutch post from me

Alright I just want to ask one final time. I have an 07 cobalt ls with a supercharger setup and been told either the exedy stage 2 or a spec stage 2+. I only want to remove the trans once and do it the right way when its done. please let me know what clutch your running. Thanks. I also have a stock flywheel.

Also if the exedy is the one everybody runs do you get the thick or thin disc?

exedy stg 2 is a great clutch it'll have very stiff engagement though fyi.. i'd look at getting the zzp adjustable clutch rod as well as resurfacing the flywheel / buying a new one.. a new one is like 75 bux from gmpD

I don't know if it works with an LS, but the GMP upgrade clutch is cheaper and more than you would need

I would go with the spec 2+ then, the exedy is a rough DD clutch, well I had the hypersingle but I know the spec 2 isn't bad

I don't have a spec 2, I just have felt it. spec 2 is more than enough. I know the spec 2 works and works well, I don't know about the exedy other than the stg 3 hypersingle

I have the Exedy stage 2 laying around ready to go in. Couldn't tell you if I have the thick or thin version honestly. I also just picked up a new flywheel. For under 100 bucks and having 80,000 miles it's not even worth trying to reuse.
