You can't use a flywheel in an auto tranny. Sorry bro.

Manual only.

Dont swap out, if you drag with an auto you'll always have better shifts and quicker reactions. And the trannies can handle a LOT of abuse.

Do know what you people think you need to do to things that are fine as they are. Upgrade trannies for no reason, bigger fuel injectors for no reason...come on people

wants & needs

I'm not saying I want to up and buy whatever's out there. I'm just wondering if anything happens to be out there for me to think about as an investment.

I neverneeded to get an exhaust. Heck—I never needed a car. I could've walked to class everyday, but I have one so I'm going to have some fun with it.

So I'm guessing no one has done anything to their auto then.

The Blur reread what i posted before, it never said anything to which you replied

What i said is people need to stop trying to get larger injectors, heavy duty transmissions etc.. when their cars are stock, close to stock, or only slightly moddified. The only time anyone will need to upgrade any of these things are if an extremely high compression or forced induction.

And the only thing anyone has done to their auto was a shift module from ebay. There was a thread on it awhile back, I cant find it now. But no one has heard any good or bad from it.

you might get quicker shifts but you loose a lot of power with a auto tranny i would say 15% in our case....when i was stock i raced an auto coupe and put 1.5 car lenghts on him

For a moment there, I thought you were one of those guys who likes to just ask why we do anything to our cars. I completely understand what you're saying now.

I have no need for a tranny upgrade or any parts for it yet. Someday I might, so I thought I might as well ask.

I'd bet money the ebay part was not good. It's a great site, but so many people sell so much useless junk on there (check the Turbonator thread if you haven't already).

I appreciate the quick replies guys.

as far as i see it, the only tranny upgrade to the auto that i'd consider is a heatsink for the tranny fluid so i can downshift and not worry bout shortening the trannys lifespan
