Hey guys, I was at work today (I work at a metal recycling plant) and of all things that people would sell for junk, I found a nice little garrett turbo.

Now, I'm not an expert on this at all, so I need some help on identifying it. In the pic you can see it has a numbers all on it: M53 .53 2

On the reverse: Garrett 12J6 AR 64 T12 M4

I'm not sure how this compares to the garrett disco potato, but it looks just small enough to just fit.

Can someone give me some information on this? Is it smaller than the disco potato? I'm guessing it's a T12, and if so is it worth throwing it on my 2.2 once proper tuning and such comes?

Either way, not a bad find for about 50 cents we paid for it.
