Found out what my problem is...
Sorry for the big pics...but im sure you can all figure it out...

ya...all the exhaust valves are bent...
cyl looks ok, you can see where it impacted but because it was only as fast as the starter was turning it its ok...

he installed cams, it was timed incorrectly, tried to start it, bent valves.
you live and you learn...i bet your gonna check timing like 8988835380 times from now on and turn the engine by hand before cranking it over.

i learned the hard way...but i have to say, i learned a hell of alot about the engine and how it all works in general while doing this...
just wish it would have been my choice
ya lol, the right side valves are supposed to look like the left in that they should seat all the way
