Front bushy

Does anyone know if the front bushy is removable? Or do you have to remove the whole arm?

You can remove your front bush with scissors or electric clipper. If your "arm" came off you cut too close

It's an actual piece under neath the car in the front where the arm is at and it's called a bushy.

Are you talking about rear cab"'s? If so you might also want to take a look at the spherical ones Powell makes.

I think you will have to upgrade to the SS control arms to utilize them but that isn't a bad thing

Yes you can press out the bushing. Be careful that you don't mess up the hole though.

Your girl should be trimming the bush into something less bushy. Nobody likes the natural look.

love this thread already.
Easiest way to remove the lower control arm bushing is press it out. You could pound it out too. But, but pounding the new one in will be a pita. Yank the arm, have the new one and bring them to a machine shop. Or just order LSJ lca's and swap yourself. They come with bushings installed. Will reduce your weight and help your dampers react better.
