What is the highest octain fuel you can put in a stock 2.2?

well you CAN put anything into it, i just stick with 87.

if you are running anything more than 87 in a 2.2 w/o tuning you are waisting money. And that is that. (unless you want to clean out your engine)

thanks I was asking because I have sum 20% nitro alcohalmix an some vp racing fuel and wasint sher if it would hert.

Higher Rated Octane Gasoline alone will NOT gain you power. The octane rating in relation to your engine is all referring the resistance to detonation (knock). Detonation is a uncontrolled explosion in your combustion chamber (not like a normal controlled igniting of fuel).

it's pretty much leaded gas. I'm not really sure how much it goes for but I'm sure it's expensive. I know 100 octane around me is like $5 a gallon so...
